The ukeleleist

There is a girl whom you've met but never really talked to. People who know her well tell you how absolutely amazing she is, but she is so quiet and always behind the scenes that you never see her as they do. As people keep saying all the wonderful things about her, you become intrigued. You want to know more about this delightful girl. So you go talk to her.
You find her upstairs in a quiet corner, drawing wonderful pictures of hilarious characters. You smile at the drawing, and you smile at her. But she is so lost in her art that she hasn't heard you come up the stairs.
"Hello," You begin awkwardly. She looks up calmly and says, "Hi." You sit by her and ask what she's drawing.
"Tin Tin." She explains it's one of her favorite comics. She keeps sketching, and you watch mesmerized.
Over many years, you talk to her little by little. You find out just how many amazing things she's drawn. You find out she has brilliant singing voice. When she sings, she sounds like Christine from the Phantom of the Opera. She can sing like a professional, and she can sing like a comedian. She tells you jokes, and you laugh, stomach aching  and cheeks sore from her hilarity.
You still don't know the depths of her. You've just begun to meet her, even though you've known her for years.
One day she plays her ukelele, and you are near by. Her excitement over the instrument is inspiring. She treats it as her friend, and she plays it with joy. She is a brand new ukeleleist, just discovering the in's and out's of the instrument. It is an adventure for her as she learns more and more of her new found trade.
She is on a great journey, discovering herself and her passion. She inspires with her radiant beauty. A girl-just a bud of a flower-you know when in full bloom she will be the brightest rose in the garden.
